Where are my paintings?

Every painting saves automatically while you draw. Tap the Gallery button (the grid at the top left) to see them all; touch and hold a painting to rename, duplicate or delete it. Your paintings are also in the Files app under On My iPad › Doodly Doodle › Projects, and they are included in your iPad backups.

Keeping a copy

To keep a portable copy of a painting, open the Project menu and choose Save project as…. Opening that file later with Open project… adds it to your gallery as a separate painting if the original is still there, so it never replaces your current work.

Exporting

Project › Export image or animation… makes a still image (PNG, HEIF, TIFF), a video (H.264, HEVC), a GIF, or numbered frames. Animated exports default to the painting's motion loop so they repeat without a jump. Large exports can take a while; you can cancel at any time.

Purchases belong to your Apple Account. On a new iPad, open Project › Free and Pro and tap Restore purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
