The mark is added to exported files only, never to your painting. Soundtracks have no mark. The effects and layers a book paints with are always included, in Free too.

Is Plus a subscription?
No. Plus is a one-time in-app purchase for CA$9.99, shared with your family through Family Sharing.
Why Plus?
Doodly Doodle is made by one person, with no ads, no account and no subscription. Plus opens every page of every book, and new books as they come, every effect look and as many layers as your device holds, removes the mark from exports, and keeps the app growing.
What does the mark look like?
A small mark in the bottom-right corner: the app’s bird logo and the words Made with Doodly Doodle, on a soft light backing so it reads on any painting. It goes on every exported image, video, GIF and book page; a layered PSD has it as its own top layer, named Made with Doodly Doodle. It never changes your painting, only the exported file, and soundtracks have none.
Can I sell what I make?
Yes. What you paint is yours, in Free or Plus, including for commercial work.
Can I download the app now?
Yes, on iPad, iPhone and Mac: Doodly Doodle on the App Store.
Do I need an Apple Pencil?
The app is designed for iPad and Apple Pencil, and also runs on iPhone and Mac. You can also enable finger drawing in Actions → Settings… → Interface & input. Doodly Doodle needs iPadOS 26, iOS 26 or macOS 26 or later; support explains why.
What happens to my paintings if Plus access changes?
Nothing in them changes: a painting keeps every effect and layer it has, and plays and exports as it is. New exports carry the mark again, and adding a sixth layer of your own or choosing a Plus effect look asks for Plus.
Can I restore Plus on another device?
Use the same Apple Account, then open Actions → Free and Plus → Restore purchases.
Where does my work go?
Your paintings save on your device. There is no Doodly Doodle account to create. Use Files to keep a project copy, or export when you choose to share. Read the privacy policy.
