Doodly Doodle is a painting app for iPad. It is built so that your paintings stay yours: the app collects no personal data, has no accounts, and contains no analytics, advertising or tracking.

Your paintings

Paintings, brushes and settings are stored on your iPad, inside the app's own storage. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. Paintings appear in the Files app under Doodly Doodle, so they are included in your device backups and you can copy them elsewhere yourself.

Nothing leaves your iPad unless you choose to share it, for example by exporting an image or video and sending it with the share sheet.

Photos

If you save an export to your photo library, iPadOS asks for permission to add photos. The app only adds the images or videos you export; it never reads your library. Reference images you pick are copied into that painting only.

Purchases

Optional purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details. The app asks Apple which purchases your Apple Account owns so it can unlock them.

Crash reports

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPad's settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. You can change this in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

This website

doodlydoodle.app uses no cookies, analytics or forms. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

Children

Because the app collects no personal data, it collects none from children either.
